Audiences have been so furious in their debate of AMC's "The Killing" and its maddening finale that they seem to have forgotten that it's a television show. A show filled with beautiful and talented actors.

Viewers have been so wrapped up in the mystery and its characters that when the show's star, Mireille Enos, began popping up in casting notices and movie news, people actually said "Who?" That's soon to change, as Enos is quietly signing onto a number of major roles. She's currently filming alongside Brad Pitt in the highly anticipated "World War Z," and now she's negotiating to be an influential member of "The Gangster Squad."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Enos is in talks to play Josh Brolin's wife in Squad. Brolin will be playing John O'Mara, one of the few honest cops in the LAPD. He's chosen to help form the titular Gangster Squad, a group of good and brave cops who worked to keep organized crime out of Los Angeles.

Despite fearing for his life, O'Mara's wife bravely supports him, and actually helps him choose his squad mates. So Enos won't be just standing tearfully by her man. She's actually sticking it to Mickey Cohen and his mafia cronies. I bet he never saw the housewives coming...

"The Gangster Squad" won't even hit theaters until 2013, but it's already earned more buzz than some of the thrillers and dramas coming out this year. With a top notch cast -- Brolin, Sean Penn, and Ryan Gosling are headlining -- and popular director Reuben Fleischer at the helm, it seems destined for awards and accolades. Enos has picked her projects wisely, and we suspect that she won't earn a "Who again?" by the time "Squad" hits theaters.

She'll be a draw all on her own.
